Wadsworth opens four new school buildings

Four new school buildings, a high school and three elementary buildings were opened in September.

A 380,000-square foot high school was built at 625 Broad St. behind the former high school. Two of the elementary buildings, Isham and Valley View, were constructed on the same acreage as the previous buildings. Overlook Elementary was built on Broad Street across from the high school.

Each of the buildings incorporates energy-saving lighting systems, and geothermal heating and cooling was installed in the new high school.
