The Wadsworth City Council will hold its regular meeting at 7:30 tonight at City Hall, 120 Maple Street.

On the agenda will be an ordinance to approve the purchasing of two 2013 Dodge Charger Police Special Cruisers for the police department and a packer truck for the sanitation department.

Other proposed ordinances include amending the city's shade tree commission rules to allow money in the fund to be used for the care, replacement, trimming and pruning of street trees.

An amendment to the city's pollution control regulations will bring the city's ordinance into compliance with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency's national discharge elimination requirements.

Also, council is also expected to discuss a proposal to contract with consultants to file an application for a 2013 Community Housing Improvement Program grant.

In addition, discussion will also involve contracting for janitorial services for City Hall, tree trimming and tree removal for the electric department, sludge disposal, street sweeping, traffic signal construction and electrical, heating, ventilation and air conditioning services.
