The Cafe at the Soprema Center, 617 School Drive, will open for business Monday.
In January, the new Senior Center opened its doors at its new site on School Drive, moving from a more than 70-year-old building at 138 High Street to sparkling new quarters as part of the city's Community Center.
That Center, with 70,000 square feet includes the YMCA fitness center and pools, the Summa Wadsworth Health Center with radiology and therapy departments, a place for Wadsworth Library materials to be picked up and returned along with computer workstations and a home for Wadsworth Community Televsion.
The Soprema Center has had a full list of activities each week since its opening and will be another feature, the Cafe.
According to Soprema Center Director Nancy Likens, the Monday opening will not offer hot items, but will offer the remainder of the menu. Likens said the hot item menu will begin April 1.
Some of the selections which to be offered by the cafe include salads, sandwiches, desserts and beverages.
Windfall Industries will staff the cafe and they hope to provide a business that offers high quality services to customers while providing comprehensive training for individuals with disabilities.
Open to the public, the cafe will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
